An Introductory Flight is the perfect first step into General Aviation and Flight Training, and there is no better way to begin than in our brand new Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP. Whether you are discovering aviation for the first time or considering flight training, this experience gives you the opportunity to sit in the pilot’s seat and fly with one of our instructors in a beautiful new aircraft.

During the flight, you will be introduced to the training environment and experience the airplane through fundamental maneuvers such as climbs, straight and level flight, turns, and descents. Flying in our newest aircraft makes the experience even more memorable, with modern avionics, a comfortable interior, and the smooth feel of a brand new airplane. It is a great way to see what flight training is really like.

This is not just a sightseeing ride. It is a true introductory flight lesson, and it will count toward your training if you decide to continue.

You are also welcome to bring a friend, subject to aircraft availability, and take as many pictures as you would like. Whether you are booking for yourself or giving it as a gift, this is a great way to experience aviation in one of our newest aircraft.

You’re also welcome to call our front desk at 979-260-6322 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM, every day, including weekends.

There is no need for special paperwork, but we do need to confirm a few things: whether you’ll be bringing a friend, approximate weight, and a phone number where we can reach you. This allows us to contact you in case of weather changes or other unforeseen circumstances. We recommend thinking ahead about possible alternative dates for a (literal) rain check.
