Our Instructors represent the best in the industry. Our first goal in teaching is safety. When you pass your check ride we want you to be the safest, most efficient pilot you can be - with emergency procedures as your best maneuver. Gary Gandy has been involved in various aspects of General Aviation for most of his life. He is a CFI, CFI-I, and MEI, in addition to being a Glider Instructor. He has been an instructor for over 30 years, including being a Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) for several years. His depth of knowledge and sense of humor are a great resource for our students and for the whole BVFS team. Gary also writes novels for which he does in depth historical research.

Bill Brady is a Certified Flight Instructor (Gold Seal) with single engine land, multi-engine land and instrument teaching privileges. He also holds an Advanced Ground Instructor rating. Bill received his private pilot's certificate in 1970 and has accumulated over 5000 flying hours in various civilian aircraft. In addition, Bill has over 30 years in engineering and project management experience and has owned several aircraft. Bill holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate.
David Kelly is a Certified Flight Instructor with single engine land, and instrument teaching privileges. He also holds an Advanced Ground Instructor rating. David received his private pilot certificate in 1976 and has accumulated over 3000 flying hours in various civilian aircraft including 700 hours in tailwheel aircraft. In addition, David has over 30 years in civil engineering designing refineries and power plants.
|Tom Freund is a Certified Flight Instructor (Gold Seal) with single engine land, multi-engine land, and instrument teaching privileges. He received his private pilot license in 2000 and has accumulated over 4000 flying hours. In June of 2007, he began flying the Embraer 135 and 145 regional jets at Expressjet airlines, (Continental Express), until September 2008. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Studies with a minor in Agronomy from Iowa State University in 1999.|

Christian Bruccoleri is a Certified Flight Instructor with Single Engine Land and Instrument teaching privileges. Born and raised in Italy, came to Texas as fast as he could! After getting a doctorate in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M he decided to explore the practical side of aviation and loved it so much that went all the way to CFI, CFI-I, and AGI. He has more than 900 hours of flight experience. He works for industry and academia doing engineering and research for NASA, U.S. Air Force, and private entities. Christian also has a passion for World War II era aviation since young age.

Caleb Jones is a Certified Flight Instructor with Single Engine Land and Instrument teaching Privileges. In 2012 Caleb received a discovery flight at Brazos Valley Flight Services as a gift from his father. From that day, He knew he wanted to not only pursue aviation as a career, but as a degree as well. In 2015 He graduated from Central Texas College and Texas A&M-Central Texas where he received a degree in aeronautical science, as well as obtaining his CFI and CFI-I ratings.

|Adam is a Certified Flight Instructor with single engine land privileges. He received a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in 2009 and spent 6 years as a high school teacher and coach before entering the aviation community. He took his first discovery flight in January 2015 and knew from that moment he wanted to pursue a career in aviation. Adam went on to receive his private, instrument, commercial, and CFI ratings right here at Brazos Valley Flight Services.|
