Flight Training

Private Pilot


Requirements:  17 years of age, FAA 3rd class medical, minimum 40 hours flight time, read, speak, write and understand the English language and pass an FAA written exam and flight test. [more]

Instrument Privileges

Requirements:  Private Pilot Certificate, minimum 50 hours cross country pilot-in-command time, 40 hours simulated flight training, and pass an FAA written and flight exam.

Commercial Pilot

Requirements:  at least 18 years of age, hold a Private Pilot license, 250 hours total time, and pass an FAA written and flight exam.

Multi-Engine Pilot

Requirements:  at least 17 years of age, read, speak, write and understand the English language, pass an FAA flight test.

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)

Requirements:  at least 23 years of age, Commercial Pilot Certificate, Multi-Engine and Instrument ratings, FAA 1st class medical, minimum 1500 hours total time and pass an FAA written and flight test.

Certified Flight Instructor for Single-Engine, Multi-Engine and Instrument


Requirements:  at least 18 years of age, read, speak, write and understand the English language, hold at least a Commercial Pilot Certificate with an instrument rating or ATP certificate, pass two FAA written exams, and pass an FAA flight test.
